Surt Cookie Policy
Effective date: October 5, 2026
Last Updated: October 5, 2026
This Cookie Policy (the "Policy") explains how Surt AI LLC ("Surt", "we" or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on surt.com (the "Website").
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way: they save information in your browser so that it can be read on a later visit. This Policy covers both, and refers to them together as "cookies".
For information on how Surt handles personal data more generally, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
1. What we store
Surt stores a single item on your device. It is strictly necessary for the Website to function as intended.
| Name | Technology | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| surt-geo-country | Local storage | Surt (first party) | Stores the country identified from your connection, so that the Website can display content relevant to your region | Until you clear your browser's site data |
Because this item is strictly necessary to deliver the Website you have requested, it does not require your consent. It contains no name, email address or account identifier, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
2. Third parties that receive data when you visit
The Website sets no cookies. However, two third-party services receive technical information about your device when a page is loaded.
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts (Google LLC) | Your IP address and basic browser information | The Website's typefaces are loaded from Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy. |
| ipapi.co | Your IP address | To identify your country. The result is what is stored as surt-geo-country. See ipapi.co's Privacy Policy. |
While these services receive technical network indicators (such as your IP address) necessary to fulfil the request, neither service receives account identifiers, names, or contact details, nor do they combine this data with other information to profile you. Surt does not sell personal data and does not share it with third parties for advertising or any other commercial purpose.
3. What we do not use
Surt does not use cookies or similar technologies on the Website for any of the following purposes:
– Analytics or audience measurement
– Advertising, retargeting or marketing
– Tracking you across other websites or services
– Profiling or automated decision-making
Surt does not place third-party cookies on the Website and does not permit third parties to do so.
Accordingly, Surt does not display a cookie consent banner for the storage described in Section 1, which is strictly necessary for the Website to function.
4. How to control what is stored
You may delete what the Website has stored on your device, or prevent it from being stored, through your browser settings. In most browsers this option is found under Settings, then Privacy, and then the option to clear site data or to block storage for a specific site.
Blocking or deleting this item will not prevent you from using the Website. The Website may, however, display content for a region other than your own.
Instructions are available from each browser provider:
– Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
– Apple Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
– Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
– Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies
5. Changes to this policy
If Surt begins to use cookies or similar technologies for any purpose beyond those described above, this Policy will be updated, the date stated at the top will be revised and, where required by applicable law, your consent will be obtained before such use.
